RL Environment Builder — Experienced QuickBooks User

We are seeking a seasoned QuickBooks practitioner to join our team as an RL Environment Builder, helping us translate real-world accounting and sales operations into reinforcement learning environments. Your expertise will enable AI models to learn from realistic business workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Document real-world QuickBooks workflows and day-to-day data entry processes.

• Explain how revenue reporting and accounting tasks are completed in QuickBooks.

• Help create realistic tasks based on accounting and sales operations workflows.

• Describe common software limitations, pain points, bottlenecks, and practical workarounds.

• Explain how QuickBooks integrates with other financial and business tools.

• Contribute detailed specifications for tasks and workflows.

• Build and refine reinforcement learning environments based on provided requirements.

• Review and iterate on work based on project feedback.

Required qualifications

• Professional experience in accounting, finance, sales operations, or a closely related field.

• Hands-on, current experience using QuickBooks as part of day-to-day business workflows.

• Experience with QuickBooks processes relevant to revenue reporting, data entry, reconciliations, and integrations.

• Currently employed by, or working with, a company with approximately 10–500 employees.

• Ability to discuss detailed financial processes and explain how business software is used in practice.

• Ability to document workflows and processes clearly.

• Minimum availability of 20+ hours per week.

• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

• Creating AI training data or evaluation tasks.

• AI response evaluation or annotation.

• Reinforcement learning environment development.

• Previous work with AI research or AI development teams.
