Senior Automation Test Engineer (8+ Years)

We are looking for a Senior Automation Test Engineer with 8+ years of experience in UI Automation Testing for web applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in building and maintaining scalable automation frameworks, with hands-on experience in Selenium and/or Playwright. Experience in API Automation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain UI automation frameworks.
• Automate smoke, regression, sanity, and functional test suites.
• Collaborate with Developers, Product Managers, and QA teams in an Agile environment.
• Participate in Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines and analyze automation failures.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to automation best practices.

Requirements

• UI Automation: Selenium WebDriver, Playwright (preferred), Cypress (good to have).
• Programming: JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Python.
• Frameworks: Page Object Model (POM), Hybrid Frameworks, Cucumber (BDD).
• API Automation (good to have): Postman, REST Assured, Playwright API, Python Requests.
• CI/CD: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI/CD.
• Tools: Git, Jira, Confluence, BrowserStack/Sauce Labs/LambdaTest.
• Databases: SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL).

Nice to Have

• Experience with Playwright and API automation.
• Exposure to cloud‑based applications and AI‑assisted testing tools.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience mentoring team members and working in Agile Scrum teams.
