Job description
We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our team. This contractor role is remote and focuses on developing backend services and AI training tasks.
Key responsibilities
Create realistic coding tasks for AI models to solve, including feature implementation and bug fixes.
Develop and maintain deterministic verifiers that validate AI-generated solutions.
Design and build scalable backend services and APIs using Java, Python, Rust, TypeScript, C++, Go, or Node.js.
Perform codebase refactoring, debugging, and performance optimization.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to comprehensive automated testing strategies.
Collaborate with the team to improve testing frameworks and raise the overall quality bar.
Required qualifications
Strong backend development experience with Java, Python, Rust, TypeScript, C++ or similar languages.
Proven track record of building scalable services and APIs.
Comfort with debugging, performance tuning, and bug fixing.
Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and core computer science concepts.
Experience with automated testing, test strategy design, and large test suites.
Nice to have
Experience creating AI training tasks or working with AI systems.
Familiarity with Go or Node.js backend environments.
Excellent analytical and technical communication skills.
