The annualized figure is based on 40 hours per week and 48 working weeks per year. Actual earnings will depend on project workload, assignments, and hours worked.
About the Role
We are seeking experienced Sound Designers with strong expertise in sound editing and audio restoration to contribute to a specialized video analysis and annotation project.
You will review video sessions featuring robotic arms performing real-world tasks, focusing specifically on the audio component. Your work will involve identifying important sounds and audio events, improving audio quality, and producing precise annotations that can support AI training and evaluation.
Prior AI experience is not required.
Key Responsibilities
Review and assess video sessions featuring robotic arms performing real-world tasks, with a focus on audio.
Analyze audio tracks for clarity, consistency, quality, and relevant sound events.
Edit and annotate audio tracks according to project-specific guidelines.
Restore audio quality by identifying and removing unwanted noise, distortion, and other inconsistencies.
Identify and document specific sounds, audio events, anomalies, and other relevant characteristics within video sessions.
Provide detailed and accurate annotations describing audio content and events.
Collaborate with project leads and other contributors to clarify requirements and maintain consistent annotation standards.
Apply strong audio judgment and attention to detail throughout the review and annotation process.
Required Qualifications
Professional experience in sound design, sound editing, audio production, or audio restoration.
Strong understanding of audio editing and restoration techniques.
Ability to identify subtle audio characteristics, inconsistencies, and anomalies.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to follow detailed project guidelines consistently.
Strong written communication skills for documenting audio observations and annotation decisions.
Ability to work independently and manage deliverables in a remote, project-based environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with audio data annotation or technical audio review.
Experience analyzing audio for training, evaluation, quality assurance, or research purposes.
Familiarity with professional audio editing and restoration tools.
Experience working with structured annotation guidelines or quality-control processes.
Previous experience with AI training or data labeling projects.
