Test Automation Engineer

The Test Automation Engineer will design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks to ensure high‑quality releases of our software products. This on‑site position collaborates closely with development and product teams in an Agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and extend robust Selenium‑based test suites using Java and Python.

• Implement and maintain unit and integration tests with JUnit and TestNG.

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and ensure reliable execution.

• Collaborate with developers to define testable requirements and acceptance criteria.

• Validate REST API functionality using automated scripts and contract testing.

• Containerize test environments with Docker to enable consistent cross‑platform execution.

• Monitor test results, diagnose failures, and continuously improve test coverage and reliability.

Required qualifications

• 5–15 years of professional experience in test automation engineering.

• Strong proficiency in Selenium WebDriver with Java and Python.

• Hands‑on experience with JUnit and TestNG frameworks.

• Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and practical experience configuring pipelines.

• Proficient in Git version control and Docker containerization.

• Experience testing RESTful APIs and working in Agile Scrum teams.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling).

• Familiarity with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.

• Experience with cloud‑based testing platforms (e.g., Sauce Labs, BrowserStack).

• Background in security or accessibility testing.
