About the Role

This remote contract role involves reviewing and annotating short video and audio content to support the development and evaluation of artificial intelligence systems.

You will apply project-specific guidelines to label multimedia content, evaluate AI-generated descriptions, identify content or quality issues, and provide clear written feedback. No prior AI experience is required.

What You’ll Do

• Review and annotate short video and audio clips according to project guidelines.

• Label multimedia content accurately and consistently.

• Assess AI-generated descriptions for accuracy, relevance, and appropriateness.

• Evaluate content against defined moderation and quality standards.

• Flag uncertain, inappropriate, or potentially problematic content with clear rationale.

• Provide concise written feedback on inaccuracies, ambiguities, or other issues.

• Maintain high levels of accuracy and consistency across large volumes of annotations.

• Work with remote project teams to clarify guidelines and resolve edge cases.

• Identify opportunities to improve annotation processes and workflows.

• Maintain confidentiality and follow applicable data protection requirements.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience with video or audio annotation, data labeling, content moderation, or related digital content work.

• Strong written and spoken English.

• Excellent attention to visual and audio detail.

• Ability to produce accurate, consistent annotations at volume.

• Strong ability to follow detailed guidelines and evaluation criteria.

• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

• Adaptability when project requirements or guidelines change.

• Clear written communication and ability to explain annotation decisions.

• Strong commitment to data confidentiality and responsible handling of sensitive information.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience with multimedia data annotation or content labeling.

• Experience with content moderation or quality assurance.

• Experience working with guideline-based evaluation processes.

• Experience identifying process improvements or refining annotation workflows.

• Experience collaborating with distributed or remote teams.
