To supervise Engineers, Supervisors and Technicians to sustain, improve the manufacturing process yield/output, operating cost, equipment control, products quality and develop the new technology to meet the customer satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

This job is responsible for delivering the organization outcome as stated:

  • To develop and implement for new cleaning technology to meet the new customer requirement.
  • To improve the yield, more reliable and robust cleaning equipment and cycle time.
  • To create and setup the monitoring system, OCAP, and improvement plan for the equipment control.
  • To create and setup the Equipment KPI to align with the company and the interested party’s goal.
  • To perform the equipment/process risk assessment.
  • To improve the operating cost, in term of reduce consumption, qualify the new materials, and/or new suppliers.
  • To perform the job per the assignment.
  • Ensure commonality/standardization among same processes/system within related manufacturing sites.
  • To supervise, control, and follow-up the working performance to resolve any products defect.
  • To manage new products qualification per committed timeline.
  • To manage all spending cost per commitment.
  • To manage all IDM/Spare part inventory to support production.
  • To encourage and drive all Equipment/Process parameters and data to be the central Virtual Factory Console.
  • To encourage and drive WD global culture.
  • To encourage and drive products quality culture.
  • To encourage and drive EHS culture.
  • Follow WDTH HR rules and regulations.
  • Follow WDTH QMS procedures.
  • Follow WDTH EHS procedures.
  • Follow WDTH ESD procedures.
  • Follow WDTH Cleaning & Contamination procedures.
  • Understand the IMS policy and be able to apply and contribute to the organization to achieve per intended outcome.

REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor degree or higher in Engineering, Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Science, Chemistry, Physics or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years in related position.
  • Work in electronic, semiconductors or HDD business especially slider fabricate process or HGA assembly are advantage.

SKILLS:

  • Ultrasonic / Megasonic cleaning process knowledge
  • Brush scrubbing, rinsing, and drying process experience
  • Chemical handling and concentration control (alkaline/surfactant cleaners)
  • Equipment operation, recipe setup, and preventive maintenance
  • Cleanroom working experience (ESD, gowning, contamination control)
