Job Introduction

Leads cross-functional teams to define and execute product strategies that align with business objectives and customer needs across Tekion's Service (Fixed Ops) product portfolio. Oversees the product lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring products - including AI-native agents and intelligent workflows across the service and repair order lifecycle - deliver measurable value and drive company growth.

Key Role & Responsibilities

  • Develops and communicates a clear product vision and strategy for the Service portfolio that aligns with company goals and the economics of dealership Fixed Ops.
  • Analyzes market trends, customer feedback, and the competitive landscape to inform product decisions and sharpen differentiation against legacy DMS providers.
  • Defines and ships AI-native products and agents while establishing clear frameworks for when AI should inform, decide, execute, or ask/escalate to a human and partners with Data Science and Engineering to move from prototype to trustworthy, production-grade capabilities.
  • Establishes and monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) - adoption, engagement, satisfaction, and revenue - to measure product success and inform future strategies.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and business, to bring products to market effectively and drive adoption and monetization.
  • Owns the commercial case for the product area: pricing, packaging, and the path to ARR growth to ensure every initiative carries a clear hypothesis and path to revenue or operational impact.
  • Drives continuous improvement in the product development lifecycle (PDLC) process, ensuring timely value delivery of high-quality products across scheduling, repair order, warranty, invoicing, and customer communication.
  • Leads, mentors, and manages a team of product managers, fostering professional growth and a high-performance, ownership-driven culture.
  • Operates with a high degree of autonomy. Reports to senior leadership and is accountable for product performance, business outcomes, and alignment with company goals.

Basic Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in product management, with a track record of successfully executing on product strategies.
  • 3+ years of experience in leading and managing a large product team.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Hands-on experience building AI/ML-powered products and shipping trustworthy AI into production.
  • Strong commercial and business instincts - comfort with pricing, packaging, business cases, and tying product to revenue.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate market insights into actionable product plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and product development tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or advanced degree in Product Design or Product Management.
  • Recognized as a thought leader within the organization and industry, ideally with credibility in automotive retail, dealership operations, or adjacent vertical B2B ERP SaaS.
  • Experience building work order management platform products including workflow builder, complex task routing, invoicing, taxation, etc.
