This is a high-impact portfolio with varied talent markets, senior stakeholders, and roles where the quality of each hire can influence how Stripe operates and grows. You will own full-cycle recruiting, advise leaders on hiring strategy and market conditions, and build trusted relationships with candidates and hiring teams.
Responsibilities
- Partner with senior leaders to understand business priorities, define hiring plans, and develop recruiting strategies that support headcount goals.
- Own the full recruiting lifecycle, from intake and sourcing through offer acceptance and onboarding handoff.
- Advise hiring teams on talent-market conditions, candidate availability, competitive dynamics, and hiring approaches for specialized and senior roles.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies that build broad, qualified candidate pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
- Build strong candidate relationships and deliver a thoughtful, timely candidate experience throughout the process.
- Use recruiting data to track progress, identify risks and opportunities, and provide clear updates to business leaders.
- Improve recruiting processes where needed, testing practical changes that help hiring teams move with clarity and consistency.
- Partner closely with cross-functional teams, including Finance, People Operations, Benefits, Onboarding, and Legal, to support a smooth offer and onboarding experience.
- Uphold structured, competency-based hiring practices and help hiring teams assess candidates against the requirements of each role.
Who you are
We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.
Minimum requirements
- 4+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, including in-house recruiting experience.
- Experience partnering with senior leaders on hiring strategy, talent-market insights, and complex searches.
- Ability to build trust with senior stakeholders and influence decisions through sound judgment, data, and market knowledge.
- Experience developing sourcing strategies and engaging candidates for specialized or senior roles.
- Ability to use recruiting data to identify trends, communicate progress, and improve recruiting outcomes.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple searches and shifting priorities.
- A collaborative approach and comfort working across functions to solve problems and improve the hiring experience.
- Curiosity about emerging AI tools and a practical approach to testing and adopting new ways of working.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience recruiting for business, corporate, finance, communications, strategy, legal, or other specialized professional functions.
- Experience supporting senior-level hiring or roles with complex stakeholder groups.
- Experience working across multiple geographies or advising on location strategy.
- Familiarity with recruiting systems and sourcing tools, including applicant tracking systems, candidate relationship management tools, and LinkedIn Recruiter.
