The IMPACT FESTIVAL brings together companies, start-ups, investors, and innovators to drive digital and sustainable transformation forward. To make this happen, it takes strong partners and a diverse range of exhibitors.

As a (Senior) Sales Manager, you will play a key role in acquiring new exhibitors, sponsors, and partners for the IMPACT FESTIVAL. With your instinct for business opportunities and your strong closing skills, you will directly contribute to the festival’s growth and economic success. This role is not just about managing existing accounts, but about actively creating new opportunities, acquiring a high number of exhibitors, convincing partners, and consistently driving the sales process through to contract signing.

You are responsible for selling our exhibitor, trade fair, sponsorship, and partnership offerings, from identifying and approaching potential customers through negotiation to contract signing. You build a sustainable sales pipeline by combining inbound leads with proactive outbound activities to acquire new customers. You develop existing customer relationships, identify cross- and upselling opportunities, and build long-term partnerships. Together with the team, you further develop our sales strategy and pricing structure and identify new market opportunities. You confidently lead negotiations with decision-makers, with a strong focus on closing deals, and develop tailored offers. You ensure a structured handover to the onboarding and account management process and support it as needed. You manage and document your sales activities in our CRM (Pipedrive) and use the data gained to manage, analyze, and optimize the pipeline. You work closely with the IMPACT FESTIVAL team and other relevant departments at TechQuartier, ensuring smooth coordination and collaboration.

You have several years of experience in B2B sales, ideally in the trade fair, conference, event, or sponsorship industry. You have a proven track record in acquiring new customers and experience in successfully driving complex sales processes through to closing. You have a strong understanding of customer needs and market potential and bring experience in developing, implementing, and optimizing sales strategies and pricing structures. You are a strong communicator, approachable, and confident when interacting with a wide range of stakeholders. You communicate fluently in both German and English. You have strong negotiation skills, take initiative, and work in a structured and goal-oriented manner, while keeping track of multiple sales processes running in parallel. You are eager to learn and bring a hands-on mentality and a solution-oriented approach. You are confident working with CRM systems; experience with Pipedrive is a plus. You are passionate about sustainability, digitalization, and innovation.

You have experience working in a startup or coworking environment and are familiar with the dynamics of agile work cultures.
