Working Student - Commercial Planning (f/m/d) and drive our business forward.
What Will Your Role Be
We are looking for a structured and commercially minded Working Student to support our Commercial Planning team at Spreadshirt. You will help ensure that promotions are set up, launched and monitored correctly across channels – and support our parcel insert and retention mailing activities from audience preparation through to operational delivery.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining hands-on execution with data analysis, works reliably with deadlines and has an eye for detail. You will gain practical experience in e-commerce trading, campaign operations and promotional performance analysis.
What You´ll Do
Promotion operations
- Support the planning, scheduling and coordination of promotional campaigns across relevant Spreadshirt channels.
- Maintain promotion schedules and ensure all required campaign information is complete and available on time.
- Perform live checks once promotions launch, including offer visibility, pricing, discount logic, messaging and channel implementation.
- Flag issues quickly, coordinate with relevant stakeholders and follow up until they are resolved.
- Support documentation of promotion mechanics, campaign set-ups and operational learnings.
Campaigns, parcel inserts & retention mailings
- Support the operational preparation of parcel insert campaigns and retention mailings.
- Help develop, validate and clean audience files based on campaign requirements and targeting criteria.
- Ensure audience volumes meet the agreed quantities and that files are delivered accurately and on time.
- Support coordination with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth campaign execution.
- Maintain clear documentation of quantities, target groups, timings and campaign status.
Performance analysis & reporting
- Monitor daily promotional performance, including orders, revenue, conversion rate, margin and other relevant KPIs.
- Support the preparation of daily and campaign-level performance reports
- Create and maintain presentation materials for promotion reviews, planning meetings and business updates.
- Help identify notable performance developments, anomalies and opportunities for optimisation.
- Support post-campaign analysis and the documentation of key learnings for future campaigns.
Ideas & Continuous Improvement
- Bring fresh ideas for promotion mechanics, campaign messaging and customer incentives to improve conversion, basket size and margin.
- Research and share relevant promotional trends, competitor activities and best practices from e-commerce, fashion, marketplaces and FMCG.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational processes, reporting templates and campaign checks.
- Contribute ideas for parcel insert formats, retention concepts and audience approaches to make customer communication more relevant and effective.
- Support brainstorming sessions and turn promising ideas into clear, actionable proposals.
What You´ll Bring
- You are currently enrolled in a degree programme in Business Administration, E-Commerce, Marketing, Economics, Data Analytics or a related field.
- You are interested in e-commerce, promotional strategy, customer retention and commercial performance.
- You work in a highly structured, reliable and detail-oriented way – especially when handling deadlines, files and campaign set-ups.
- You are comfortable working with Excel or Google Sheets; experience with PowerPoint or Google Slides is required.
- You enjoy analysing data and translating it into clear, actionable insights.
- You communicate confidently in English.
- Ideally, you can work independently, take ownership of operational tasks and are not afraid to ask questions when something does not look right.
