The Role

Key Responsibilities:

Design and govern enterprise network architectures across LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, SD-LAN, SD-WAN, and data center environments.

Develop network architecture standards, technical designs, and infrastructure documentation to support business and operational requirements.

Lead infrastructure sizing, capacity planning, and performance management activities to ensure scalability, availability, and optimal utilization of network resources.

Design and maintain secure, resilient, and highly available network solutions, including High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) architectures.

Oversee data center network connectivity, integration, and operational readiness to support critical business services.

Identify and resolve network performance bottlenecks, capacity constraints, and infrastructure risks through proactive assessment and optimization.

Review and approve network infrastructure solutions to ensure alignment with architecture standards, performance objectives , and operational best practices.

Provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise on network architecture, capacity management, resiliency planning, and infrastructure modernization initiatives.

Partner with security, application, operations, and business teams to align infrastructure capacity, availability, performance, and compliance with current and future business needs.

Drive modern engineering and operations practices including automation, DevSecOps , observability, FinOps, SRE principles, infrastructure-as-code, platform engineering, and operational resilience.

Support AI-enabled transformation by ensuring infrastructure readiness for AI workloads, data platforms, model hosting, GPU/accelerated compute where applicable, secure connectivity, observability, and scalable platform operations

Required Experience and Skills:

10+ years of overall experience

4+ years' relevant experience in banking or financial services

1. Network & Network Security Infrastructure Design

LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi design

Software Defined Network (SD-LAN, SD-WAN)

Data Center design, connectivity, management

Infrastructure resource sizing & capacity management

Architecture / technical environment design and documentation

2. Operations, Capacity & Performance

Performance bottleneck identification & resolution

Capacity Planning

HA and DR architecture alignment

Preferred skills :

Compute, Storage, Backup

Cyber Security

Enterprise Architecture (EA)

Expert-level OEM certifications on Network

Working / hands-on experience with EA tools (e.g., Mega Hopex , Avolution ABACUS, Planview, Orbus iServer )

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, or equivalent.
• MCA, M.Tech, M.Sc., or equivalent postgraduate qualification is acceptable.
• MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is desirable.
