Your new role
As an IT System Administrator (all genders), you will join our Internal IT Team and take responsibility for the stable and secure operation of our IT infrastructure in an international environment. You will work closely with colleagues across different teams and departments and actively contribute to strategic IT projects. Your work will help ensure that our systems remain stable, secure, and future-ready.
The work you‘ll do
- Administer and continuously develop our Microsoft environment, including Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Azure.
- Take responsibility for endpoint management with Intune, Autopilot, and Apple ADE, working with the team to ensure endpoint security using Microsoft Defender.
- Manage our on-premise infrastructure, including Active Directory, Hyper-V, and network and Wi-Fi components.
- Administer our Atlassian tools Jira and Confluence as well as OTRS, including user and access rights management.
- Support our employees with IT-related requests and during onboarding and offboarding, while keeping our IT documentation accurate and up to date.
- Contribute to IT security, compliance, and automation topics and continuously improve existing processes.
- Support license management and help ensure the cost-effective use of our software solutions.
- Work independently on cross-functional IT projects and provide technical guidance to junior team members.
The qualifications you need
- Completed vocational training in IT or equivalent hands-on professional experience.
- Several years of experience in system administration, particularly with Microsoft 365 and Entra ID; experience with Azure is an additional advantage.
- Experience with endpoint management, ideally Intune and Autopilot, as well as endpoint security.
- Good understanding of core infrastructure topics such as Active Directory, servers, DNS, networks, and Group Policies.
- Experience with IT service and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, or comparable ticketing systems.
- A structured approach to technical challenges, the ability to find solutions independently, and an interest in improving processes through scripting or automation.
- German skills at a minimum B2 level and the ability to communicate confidently in English in your day-to-day work, combined with an open and collaborative approach across teams and departments.
