We are looking for an engaged and passionate Staff Engineer to join our growing engineering department and be a technical leader across our engineering teams.
As a Staff Engineer , you will be responsible for driving influence across teams and domains, leading solution delivery on cross-functional and strategic initiatives, and serving as a technical leader within the engineering organization. You will ensure the set quality standards and drive the adoption of best practices in architecture, security, and DevOps.
Quality, excellence, and agility drive our delivery processes and you will help us level these up. Using NodeJS and Typescript back-end stacks, appropriate for each requirement, but always hosted on AWS , we build added value and resilient services on top of voice and fully integrate with our customers’ business critical tools (CRM, Helpdesk, E-Commerce, …).
- Lead transversal, complex projects, fully autonomously from ideation to completion, starting from a high-level problem statement.
- Proactively communicate the technical vision across multiple teams, ensuring alignment and sharing knowledge across domains.
- Act as a go-to expert, providing mentorship and guidance across teams.
- Deeply understand multiple product domains; proactively identify improvements and advocate for customer needs across the company.
- Lead and define technical strategies for complex, impactful problems.
- Set and uphold higher quality standards and drive adoption of best practices in architecture, security, and DevOps.
- Writes production-ready code, finding appropriate solutions for medium complexity challenges; participates in software design discussions; demonstrates a good understanding of system infrastructure and DevOps principles; contributes to performance and quality within their scope; applies a security-first mindset.
- A little about you:You have extensive experience (e.g., 10+ years) in back-end development, using TypeScript & NodeJS/Python/Ruby/Rails or other languages, with a focus on delivering for security, scalability, availability, and performance across multiple domains.
- You lead and define technical strategies, demonstrating a strong understanding of system design to solve complex, impactful problems.
- You are comfortable leading the development of complex projects affecting multiple teams and domains, driving initiatives from ideation to completion.
- You are an expert at identifying opportunities for new impactful initiatives.
- You have a deep understanding of multiple product domains and can anticipate long-term needs.
- You possess effective and proactive communication skills, and can collaborate with different profiles and roles to ensure cross-domain alignment.
- You do not need to be familiar with all of our technical stack or any specific functional area, but you have a strong willingness to learn and adapt quickly.
