We are currently looking for Cloud 2nd line ops Engineer
Requirements:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated 2nd Line Operations Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will focus exclusively on operations, ensuring the smooth functioning of our IT landscape.
You will be responsible for guiding first-line support, recognizing where incidents and requests should be directed, and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of our systems to see the bigger picture.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and strong communication skills directed towards your own team, customers, and vendors such as Microsoft. Your ability to analyze complex issues and articulate solutions clearly will be crucial in enhancing our operational efficiency and supporting our overall IT strategy.
Part of your duties will be to have 24/7 standby on a rotation basis.

- Problem-Solving: Demonstrates a proactive, solution-oriented mindset with strong analytical skills to efficiently troubleshoot and resolve complex issues. Capable of synthesizing information to understand the broader implications within the IT landscape.
- Effective Communication: Good communication skills to articulate technical concepts clearly to team members and stakeholders, ensuring alignment and understanding.
- Documentation: Ability to create and maintain comprehensive documentation, such as runbooks and FAQs, to enable smooth operations. This includes documenting processes, troubleshooting steps, and best practices to ensure knowledge is easily accessible and up-to-date.
- Team Collaboration: Strong ability to work effectively in a cross team environment. Being able to effectively work together to solve operational issues.
- Adaptability: Thrives in a fast-paced, agile environment, exhibiting flexibility in adjusting to shifting priorities and evolving project requirements while maintaining focus on operational excellence.
- Problem-Solving Mindset: A proactive approach to identifying challenges and collaboratively solve operational issues.
- Customer centric approach: Strong focus on understanding and prioritizing customer needs, adept at removing obstacles to ensure a seamless experience and timely resolution of issues.
- Infrastructure as Code: Proven experience with Terraform deployment via pipelines is essential.
- Azure DevOps: Familiarity with service connections, variable groups, group management, pipelines, repositories and permissions/security within Azure DevOps.
- Cloud Experience: Solid experience with Azure cloud services.
- Azure Resources: Experience with various Azure resources such as Data Factory, Azure Machine Learning, Key Vaults, OpenAI, Cognitive Services, Kubernetes, Event Hubs, and Function Apps.
- Storage Solutions Knowledge: Understanding of different storage solutions (PostgreSQL, SQL, Cosmos DB, Blob/ADLS storage) and the ability to choose the appropriate one for specific use cases.
- Azure RBAC: Experience with Azure Role-Based Access Control, including custom roles versus predefined roles.
- Networking Familiarity: Knowledge of Azure Networking concepts, including Virtual Networks, Subnets, Private Endpoints, and Network Security Groups (NSGs).
- Documentation: Ability to create and maintain comprehensive documentation, such as runbooks and FAQs, to enable smooth operations. This includes documenting processes, troubleshooting steps, and best practices to ensure knowledge is easily accessible and up-to-date.
