At BOLD, we help people build resumes, apply for jobs, and take the next step in their careers. We are looking for a Product Manager II to help us make that experience more useful, more personal, and more effective for job seekers with different backgrounds, goals, and career situations.
This is a hands-on product role for someone who can take ownership of meaningful product opportunities from discovery through launch. You’ll be expected to understand user problems deeply, define clear product requirements, partner closely with Design and Engineering, and use results to decide what we improve next.
You’ll work across global teams to deliver experiences that improve resume quality, user confidence, conversion, and revenue.
ABOUT THIS TEAM
This role sits within BOLD’s U.S based Product organization, where our mission is to help job seekers create stronger resumes, find jobs and move forward in their careers.
Our team works across BOLD’s career-document products, combining human-centered design, data, experimentation, and AI capabilities to create experiences that are simple, guided, and effective. WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Own product initiatives focused on specific job-seeker needs, resume situations, and career-document experiences.
- Use data, research, funnel analysis, and customer insights to identify high-impact opportunities.
- Define product hypotheses, requirements, success metrics, and experiment plans for new or improved experiences.
- Partner closely with UX, Engineering, Data, Content, and AI/Content Technology teams to bring product solutions to life.
- Translate user problems into clear, practical product requirements that balance customer value, business impact, and technical feasibility.
- Lead cross-functional execution with dedicated design and engineering resources, including scoping, prioritization, sprint planning, launch readiness, and post-launch analysis.
- Evaluate experiment and launch results, synthesize learnings, and recommend next steps.
- Help adapt and scale successful experiences across BOLD’s resume and career-document products, including learnings from international markets.
- Communicate product decisions, tradeoffs, progress, risks, and results clearly to partners and leadership.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- 3–5+ years of product management or related experience, preferably in a consumer digital product, SaaS, subscription, marketplace, or e-commerce environment.
- Strong customer empathy and product judgment, with the ability to turn complex user needs into simple product experiences.
- Experience using quantitative and qualitative insights to identify opportunities and make product decisions.
- A track record of owning product initiatives from problem definition through launch and iteration.
- Comfort working with funnel metrics, A/B test results, user behavior data, and customer feedback.
- Ability to write clear product requirements, define success metrics, and partner effectively with Engineering on scope and tradeoffs.
- Strong collaboration skills across Design, Engineering, Data, Content, Marketing, and other cross-functional partners.
- Clear communication skills, including the ability to explain product decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Comfort working across global teams and time zones.
- Interest in AI-powered product experiences, personalization, resume/career technology, or helping job seekers navigate important career moments.
- Partnering directly with our core U.S.-based product team requires availability for late afternoon meetings 4 days a week (until 7-8 PM CEST).
- Fluent written and spoken English at least C1 level.
- Experience in international product teams.
WHAT’S GOOD TO HAVE
- Experience with personalization, recommendation systems, AI/LLM-powered products, or content generation workflows.
