Overview

As a Toxicologist you would be responsible for conducting chemical hazard assessments (CHAs), following the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals(GHS+) methodology to ensure accurate evaluation of chemical hazards. In addition, evaluating toxicological data, providing expert review of scientific findings and supporting projects with toxicological expertise. Also, being responsible for accurate data management in the internal database (CDR) and being committed to continuous innovation and improvement.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

Performing CHAs:

  • Conducting comprehensive CHAs using GHS+ methodology, interpreting toxicological data to evaluate the safety of chemicals in various products.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely data entry of all hazard assessments into the internal CDR database.

Documentation and reporting:

  • Preparing detailed reports and documentation for CHAs, ensuring all findings are clearly communicated.
  • Ensuring that all documentation and reporting are completed as agreed upon with the Team Lead.

Project support:

  • Providing toxicological expertise and guidance to support various projects within Enhesa.

Scientific innovation and continuous improvement:

  • Supporting innovation in toxicological methodologies and hazard assessment processes, while applying the latest scientific knowledge to improve outcomes.
  • Focusing on continuous improvement of toxicological assessments, regularly refining and enhancing processes to maintain the highest standards of efficiency and accuracy.

Key Requirements

  • Technical expertise. Strong understanding of toxicological principles, GHS+ methodology, andrelevant hazard assessment practices.
  • Analytical skills. Ability to critically analyze toxicological data and provide clear, expert reviews of scientific findings.
  • Communication. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for conveying complextoxicological information effectively.

Salary Range

$90,000—$115,000 USD
