About the Opportunity

This is an opportunity to work closely with senior leadership in a high-growth Series A company and take on a broad, high-ownership role across recruiting, operations, post-sales, executive support, analytics, communications, and business development.

As Chief of Staff, you will serve as a direct extension of the VP of Product and Post-Sales, helping increase her capacity by taking ownership of critical initiatives that span the business.

You will work across functions rather than within a single lane. One day may involve coordinating recruiting and speaking with candidates; another may involve building a post-sales process, preparing a board presentation, analyzing KPIs, or testing new outbound prospecting strategies.

There is no predefined playbook. You will be expected to identify opportunities, solve problems independently, build processes where needed, and take increasing ownership as the company and its enterprise sales motion grow.

This role is well suited to an ambitious operator who enjoys variety, moves quickly, communicates confidently, and wants meaningful exposure to how a growing technology company operates.

What You'll Do

  • Own the recruiting coordination process from beginning to end, including conducting first-round candidate calls, managing interview pipelines, and helping build repeatable hiring processes across teams
  • Build and improve post-sales processes, including QBR frameworks, upsell tracking, G2 review programs, and customer success documentation
  • Manage a complex executive calendar, proactively resolving conflicts and helping prioritize time across internal and external commitments
  • Build and maintain internal dashboards and tracking systems that provide visibility into KPIs across sales, product, and bugs
  • Prepare board decks, all-hands presentations, product status updates, and other high-stakes internal communications
  • Support outbound prospecting experiments across LinkedIn and other channels
  • Create content and test different approaches to determine what drives pipeline
  • Take ownership of new projects as priorities evolve and the business scales

What We're Looking For

  • 1–4 years of experience in a fast-moving startup, operations, generalist, or customer-facing role
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the confidence to communicate with candidates, customers, and prospects
  • High drive, initiative, and willingness to take ownership
  • Comfortable working without a predefined playbook and figuring things out independently
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment
  • Willingness to work in person at the San Mateo office five days per week, with occasional flexibility for remote days
  • Based in the San Francisco Bay Area or willing to relocate
  • No visa sponsorship available

Nice to Have

  • Startup experience, particularly in operations, Chief of Staff, or Founder’s Associate roles
  • Background in investment banking, consulting, or product management
  • Degree from a competitive academic program
  • Experience with outbound prospecting, LinkedIn content, or customer-facing sales workflows

What You'll Get

  • Direct exposure to senior leadership and company-wide decision-making
  • Broad experience across recruiting, operations, post-sales, sales, and strategy
  • High ownership and the opportunity to build processes from the ground up
  • Opportunity to take on increasingly complex responsibilities as the company scales
  • Company-covered medical insurance (individual)
  • FSA available
  • 401k (employee-contributed)
  • Lunch and dinner in office
  • Competitive equity

Interview Process

  • Initial get-to-know-you call
  • Selling or customer-facing conversation
  • Case study
  • On-site interview
  • Final interviews with the CEO and other co-founder
  • Reference checks
  • Offer
  • Hired
