Requirement details

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Release / Deployment Engineer to join our DevOps and Release Management team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing software releases across development, testing, staging, and production environments while ensuring deployments are stable, secure, and delivered within defined timelines.
The candidate will work closely with development, QA, DevOps, and product teams to manage release schedules, deployment activities, environment readiness, and post-deployment validation. You will be responsible for maintaining CI/CD pipelines, monitoring deployment activities, identifying and resolving deployment issues, and ensuring that proper release and rollback procedures are followed.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate application releases across multiple environments.
  • Manage and monitor CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and Azure DevOps.
  • Perform application deployments and support production releases.
  • Coordinate with development and QA teams for release readiness.
  • Troubleshoot deployment failures and environment-related issues.
  • Maintain release documentation, deployment procedures, and rollback plans.
  • Monitor post-deployment activities and coordinate resolution of production issues.
  • Follow change management, version control, and release management processes.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve deployment automation and release efficiency.

The successful candidate should have strong troubleshooting skills, good communication abilities, and a solid understanding of Git, CI/CD, Jenkins, Docker, Linux, and software release processes. Experience with cloud platforms and container orchestration will be an added advantage.
