About the Role

We’re looking for ARDMS-registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographers to apply their professional ultrasound expertise to the evaluation and improvement of advanced AI models.

In this role, you’ll author realistic ultrasound scenarios, develop reference answers grounded in appropriate technique and measurements, and evaluate AI-generated outputs for sonographic accuracy and patient safety.

This is expert-level evaluation work designed for practicing professionals—not general data annotation.

What You’ll Do

• Author realistic ultrasound scenarios covering imaging technique, findings, measurements, and appropriate next steps.

• Develop reference answers that explain the reasoning behind protocols, measurements, and sonographic findings.

• Evaluate AI-generated outputs for sonographic accuracy and patient safety.

• Identify findings or recommendations that may appear clinically appropriate but could miss a critical diagnosis or create a safety concern.

• Clearly document your technical reasoning so that another qualified sonographer can follow and assess it.

Required Qualifications

• Current ARDMS registration as an RDMS, RDCS, or RVT in at least one specialty.

• At least 2 years of clinical scanning experience.

• Strong expertise in image optimization, protocol selection, and interpretation of sonographic findings.

• Clear written English and the ability to document scanning technique and clinical reasoning effectively.

• Availability for at least 10 hours per week.

Preferred Qualifications

• Multiple ARDMS specialties, including vascular or cardiac.

• Experience with high-risk OB, musculoskeletal, or pediatric scanning.

• Experience training students or new sonographers.

Work Arrangement

• Fully remote and asynchronous.

• Independent contractor engagement.

• Minimum 10 hours per week with no stated maximum.

• Hours can scale up or down from week to week.

• No fixed shifts, screen recording, keystroke monitoring, or idle timers.

• Ongoing project work rather than single-task batches.

• Payment is made weekly via Stripe.

• Your rate is based on your experience and is not negotiated downward after you begin.
