Compensation: $90–$150/hour ($187,200–$312,000 annualized, based on 40 hours/week)

About the Opportunity

We are seeking experienced In-House Counsel professionals for a part-time opportunity at the intersection of legal practice and AI.

You will apply your legal expertise to help train and evaluate advanced AI systems used in real-world legal work. The role is particularly suited to lawyers with substantial experience drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and redlining technology-related contracts.

What You'll Do

• Perform simulated contract negotiations and redlining exercises.

• Review and assess AI responses to contract scenarios, providing expert feedback to improve accuracy and performance.

• Develop objective evaluation frameworks and grading criteria for assessing AI performance on contract-related tasks.

• Collaborate with product and research teams to refine data, guidelines, and best practices for AI-driven contract review.

Requirements

• 3+ years of in-house legal experience focused on technology transactions.

• Strong experience negotiating MSAs, NDAs, and DPAs.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.

• Strong analytical capabilities and the ability to translate legal expertise into actionable feedback.

• Demonstrated interest in the intersection of law and technology.

• Experience working with cross-disciplinary teams in fast-paced environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior exposure to AI, legal technology, or training initiatives.

Contract Details

• Work arrangement: Fully remote.

• Engagement: Independent contractor.

• Schedule: Part-time.

• Projects may be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on project requirements and performance.
