The annual compensation figure is a full-time equivalent calculated at 40 hours per week across 48 workable weeks. This is a task-based engagement, so actual earnings depend on completed and approved tasks.

About the Role

This part-time opportunity is for experienced In-House Counsel with strong technology transactions experience and hands-on expertise in drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and redlining commercial agreements.

You will apply your practical legal judgment to simulated contract workflows and evaluate AI-generated responses for contractual accuracy, risk identification, negotiation quality, and legal reasoning.

What You’ll Do

• Perform simulated contract negotiations and redlining exercises.

• Review and assess AI-generated responses to transactional legal scenarios.

• Identify contractual, legal, drafting, and risk-related issues in model outputs.

• Provide detailed and actionable feedback to improve model accuracy and precision.

• Create objective evaluation frameworks and grading criteria for contract-related AI tasks.

• Apply consistent legal standards when assessing AI performance.

• Collaborate with product and research teams to refine evaluation guidelines, data, and best practices.

• Translate practical in-house legal experience into structured feedback for AI evaluation.

What We’re Looking For

• At least 3 years of in-house legal experience focused on technology transactions.

• Strong experience negotiating and redlining commercial agreements, particularly:

  • Master Services Agreements (MSAs)

  • Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)

  • ISDA agreements

  • Derivatives transactions

• Strong contract drafting, negotiation, and review skills.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication.

• Meticulous attention to detail and strong analytical judgment.

• Ability to translate legal expertise into clear, actionable feedback.

• Experience working with cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.

• Interest in the intersection of law, technology, and AI.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience with AI, legal technology, or professional training initiatives.

Engagement & Compensation

• Part-time, remote contractor engagement.

• Task-based compensation.

• Average handling time is approximately 3.5 hours per task.

• Payment is based on completed tasks that meet project specifications and are successfully approved.
