The Automation Platform team is building the next generation of AI-powered capabilities that transform enterprise productivity. We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to define and scale Target's Task Intelligence platform—the foundation for automation discovery, workflow optimization, and agentic automation.

As the Sr Product Manager for Task Intelligence and Agentic Automation, you will own the product vision, strategy, discovery, and execution for a platform that understands how work happens across Target.
By analyzing digital work signals across applications, systems, and workflows, the platform generates actionable intelligence that helps individuals work more effectively, teams operate more consistently, and business leaders identify opportunities for automation and operational improvement.

By understanding how work gets done across Target, you will help teams improve productivity, scale automation, and build the foundation for future AI-driven ways of working.

What You'll Do
Define Product Vision and Strategy
- Define and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Target's Task Intelligence platform.
- Build Task Intelligence as the foundational intelligence layer that powers automation discovery, workflow optimization, process insights, and future agentic AI capabilities.
- Drive roadmap investments that advance enterprise productivity, operational excellence, and automation outcomes.
- Partner with stakeholders across business, technology, and operations to identify and prioritize high-impact opportunities.
Build Task Intelligence Capabilities
- Develop capabilities that transform digital work signals into actionable intelligence about how work is performed.
- Create a unified understanding of tasks, workflows, user interactions, and execution patterns across the enterprise.
- Establish task-level benchmarks that identify best practices, performance opportunities, and workflow friction.
- Surface insights that reduce rework, improve productivity, and enable continuous improvement.
- Partner with data science and engineering teams to create scalable intelligence models and insights.
Deliver Automation Experiences
- Identify repetitive, manual, and automatable work patterns.
- Partner with AI, engineering, and data science teams to build recommendation engines and automation discovery capabilities.
- Enable users and teams to discover, prioritize, and adopt automation opportunities.
- Measure automation impact and continuously improve recommendation quality and business outcomes.
Enable Agentic Automation
- Define product capabilities that allow Task Intelligence insights to power agentic experiences.
- Partner with AI, engineering, and automation teams to deliver experiences that assist, recommend, orchestrate, and automate work.
- Create a roadmap that evolves from workflow visibility and automation recommendations to semi-autonomous and autonomous workflows.
- Deliver foundational capabilities that enable future AI agents to understand work patterns, business context, and execution behaviors.
Improve Team and Operational Performance
- Analyze workflow variation across teams performing similar work.
- Identify characteristics of high-performing workflows and operational best practices.
- Reduce workflow variance while preserving business flexibility.
- Translate task-level insights into broader process visibility and operational improvement opportunities.
- Enable leaders to make data-driven decisions that improve productivity, quality, and execution effectiveness.
Lead Cross-Functional Delivery
- Own product prioritization, roadmap planning, and execution.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, AI/ML, data science, UX, security, privacy, and legal teams.
- Ensure solutions meet Target standards for governance, privacy, security, and responsible AI.
- Drive stakeholder alignment, product adoption, and measurable business value.

About You
- 8+ years of Product Management experience building enterprise software, AI products, automation platforms, analytics solutions, or workflow technologies.
- Demonstrated success leading product discovery and delivery of complex technical products.
- Experience partnering with engineering, AI/ML, data science, and analytics teams.
- Strong understanding of workflow automation, productivity systems, operational excellence, or process optimization.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influence skills.
- Strong analytical, customer-centric, and strategic thinking capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with task mining, process mining, workflow intelligence, workflow automation, RPA, or agentic AI platforms.
- 5+ years experience building AI-powered products, recommendation systems, intelligent assistants, or AI agents.
- Knowledge of digital workplace analytics, data science and data analytics practices.
- Experience building platform products in large-scale enterprise environments.
