Job Summary

The Fashion Consultant / Senior Fashion Consultant is responsible for delivering an exceptional customer shopping experience by understanding customer needs, providing personalized styling advice, and achieving individual and store sales targets. The role also involves maintaining store standards, ensuring effective visual merchandising, and contributing to overall store operations.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Customer Experience

• Greet and engage customers in a professional and friendly manner.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products and styling options.
• Deliver personalized fashion consultations to enhance the shopping experience.
• Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to overall store revenue.
• Promote ongoing offers, loyalty programs, and new collections to customers.
• Build and maintain long-term customer relationships to encourage repeat business.

Product Knowledge

• Stay updated on the latest fashion trends, collections, fabrics, fits, and styling techniques.
• Demonstrate strong product knowledge to confidently assist customers.
• Provide accurate information regarding product features, pricing, care instructions, and availability.

Store Operations

• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and visual appeal of the store.
• Ensure merchandise is properly displayed, replenished, and tagged.
• Assist with stock receiving, replenishment, stock counts, and inventory management.
• Support billing, cash handling, and POS operations as required.
• Follow company SOPs related to store operations and customer service.

Visual Merchandising

• Maintain displays in line with company visual merchandising guidelines.
• Ensure products are presented attractively to maximize sales opportunities.
• Identify and communicate merchandising improvements to the Store Manager.

Team Collaboration

• Work collaboratively with store team members to achieve business objectives.
• Support new team members through guidance and knowledge sharing (Senior Fashion Consultant).
• Participate in store meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews.

Compliance

• Adhere to company policies, grooming standards, and code of conduct.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and loss prevention guidelines.
• Maintain confidentiality of company and customer information.

Fashion Consultant

• 0–2 years of experience in retail sales, preferably in fashion, apparel, or lifestyle retail.

Senior Fashion Consultant

• 2–5 years of experience in fashion/apparel retail with proven sales performance and the ability to guide junior team members.
