Primary Role:

Responsible for leading the technical design and development of projects, guiding the engineering team, ensuring code quality, and aligning solutions with business goals and technical standards. Collaborate with project managers and business stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions for the development team. Implement A/B Tests in Adobe Target based on the requirements.

Education and Experience:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
  • 10+ years of hands-on AEM development experience, with a strong foundation in Java, Sling, OSGi, JCR, and Apache Web Server
  • 5+ years of experience leading AEM architecture and delivery teams in client-facing applications.

Proven Skills and Abilities :

  • Lead the design and implementation of AEM-based architectures to support digital marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AEM solutions with existing systems.
  • Design caching and security strategies (Dispatcher, firewall, CDN)
  • Define strategies to support multi-site and multi-language web applications by fully leveraging the capabilities of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
  • Create and manage A/B and multivariate tests with Audience Segmentation from 6sense using Adobe Target. Leverage A4T to enhance analytics data captured by A/B Tests.
  • Demonstrate experience in integrating with third-party applications ( SalesForce, OneTrust, 6sense, ) and Adobe products (Target, Launch, Analytics and CJA ) with AEM.
  • Experienced in provisioning access using Adobe Admin Console, using Adobe Support as needed and handling production deployments using Adobe Cloud Manager.
  • Deep understanding and experience in working with Adobe Suite of products including Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Target, Adobe Launch, Adobe Analytics and Customer Journey Analytics.
  • Extensive hands-on experience in full-stack development, with a strong ability in both system and application design.
  • Develop and oversee OSGI bundles, AEM templates, HTL/Sightly components and services, AEM launches, workflows, localization features, AEM Mobile and Forms applications and the AEM DAM.
  • Strong hands- on experience of Components, Templates, Taxonomy, metadata management, Forward and Reverse Replication, Workflows, Content Publishing and unpublishing, Tagging, Deployment(Maven) and Content migration/ planning.
  • Experience working with Single Page Application (SPA) frameworks such as Vue.js and React, along with comprehensive knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and its backend frameworks of OSGI, Sling, Sightly etc.
  • Provide expert guidance on AEM system engineering and support engineering best practices providing future-proof solutions.
  • Deep understanding of system architecture including high availability, disaster recovery, caching, CDN, and persistence layers.
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to understand their needs and translate them into effective technical solutions.
  • Proven track record of launching complex, enterprise-level platforms using AEM Cloud Service or AEM 6.5
  • Provide on-going technical support to business as well as a team of AEM engineers, functional SMEs, and business analysis across the organization.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills — capable of engaging both executive stakeholders and engineering teams.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and test-driven development practices.
