About the role

Are you an experienced implementation professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys leading complex network infrastructure deployments from start to finish? The Implementation Lead plays a critical role in coordinating onsite installation activities, ensuring quality standards are met, and serving as the primary field representative throughout project execution.

You'll lead installation teams, manage onsite logistics, oversee testing and troubleshooting efforts, and ensure deployments are completed accurately, safely, and efficiently. Your work will directly impact project success, customer satisfaction, and the performance of mission-critical network infrastructure

What you’ll be doing

As a member of the Deployment & Implementation team, you'll be responsible for coordinating field installations, ensuring infrastructure quality, and supporting successful project delivery across customer environments. Your responsibilities will include:

Installation Leadership & Project Coordination

  • Coordinate onsite implementation activities to ensure installations align with approved designs and project requirements.
  • Lead installation crews and serve as the primary onsite representative for Boldyn throughout project execution.
  • Coordinate activities between escorts, Field Service Representatives, contractors, vendors, and internal implementation teams.
  • Track installation progress and provide regular status updates to project managers and stakeholders.
  • Manage onsite inventory, equipment logistics, and installation resources to support project timelines.
  • Ensure all equipment is properly scanned, tracked, and installed in the correct locations.

Network Installation, Testing & Troubleshooting

  • Oversee installation of fiber, copper, and networking infrastructure.
  • Perform testing and validation of network infrastructure to ensure quality and performance standards are achieved.
  • Conduct signal strength and speed coverage verification to confirm alignment with deployment plans.
  • Troubleshoot network issues in partnership with Engineering, NOC, Circuit, and Vendor teams.
  • Repair and resolve fiber and copper connectivity issues identified during testing and commissioning activities.
  • Support the successful activation and optimization of deployed network solutions.

Quality Assurance & Documentation

  • Conduct quality control inspections of installed equipment and infrastructure.
  • Verify installations meet project specifications, company standards, and customer requirements.
  • Complete closeout documentation, including network records and wireless design as-builts.
  • Maintain accurate daily records, installation reports, and project documentation.
  • Capture and organize closeout photographs of installed equipment and completed work.
  • Support inventory reconciliation, return shipments, and project closeout activities. [

Collaboration & Customer Engagement

  • Serve as the primary onsite point of contact for customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Communicate effectively with project teams, field personnel, and customers throughout deployment activities.
  • Foster a collaborative work environment focused on safety, quality, and operational excellence.
  • Support incident resolution, work order completion, and escalated field-related issues.
  • Contribute to a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

What you’ll bring

Think you could make a difference here? We're looking for someone who brings strong technical installation expertise, leadership capabilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality infrastructure solutions. You will also bring some of the following:

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in cabling installation, networking infrastructure, or related electronic systems.
  • Experience leading or coordinating field installation projects and onsite crews.
  • Technical school certification preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of fiber optic and copper infrastructure installation, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with IP networking, Ethernet, routers, firewalls, and CAT5/CAT6 technologies.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, installation specifications, and wiring diagrams.
  • Working knowledge of BICSI, INSTF, or related cabling standards and best practices preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in dynamic field environments.
  • Strong organizational skills with experience managing equipment, inventory, and project documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with customers, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Mechanical aptitude and proficiency using hand tools, power tools, and installation equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to follow established installation, testing, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • High level of accountability, integrity, adaptability, and attention to detail.
  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively. Candidates should be located near a major airport.
