Job Description

Role Overview

This team is seeking a high-performing Sales Development Representative (SDR) to drive growth within their Laboratory Services division.

This is a critical role that balances rapid inbound lead qualification with sophisticated, research-driven outbound prospecting. As the first point of human contact, you will be responsible for engaging technical decision-makers and booking qualified discovery meetings for the Account Executive team.

The ideal candidate is a process-driven professional who excels at navigating complex B2B environments. You will be expected to master technical vocabulary and engage with stakeholders in highly regulated industries, including Life Sciences, Pharmaceuticals, and Medical Devices.

This position operates on US Central Time (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CT) and offers a Talent on Demand model with the potential for conversion to a direct hire based on performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute a high-velocity response strategy for inbound inquiries, ensuring a first-contact time of under one business hour.
  • Conduct deep research to identify and prospect into named target accounts, focusing on quality and personalization over volume.
  • Execute multi-channel outreach including professional email sequences, LinkedIn prospecting, and strategic cold calling.
  • Qualify leads against strict criteria to ensure high meeting-to-opportunity conversion rates.
  • Maintain rigorous CRM hygiene within HubSpot, tracking all activities and managing lead data enrichment.
  • Reactivate dormant accounts through targeted re-engagement campaigns.
  • Collaborate closely with the Sales Manager to refine messaging for personas in QA, QC, Regulatory Affairs, and R&D.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of proven experience as a B2B SDR or BDR with documented success in meeting-booking.
  • Professional fluency in written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate confidently with US-based technical professionals.
  • Strong proficiency in HubSpot, specifically with Sequences and CRM management.
  • Demonstrated experience in personalized outbound prospecting, with no "spray-and-pray" methodology.
  • Technical curiosity and the ability to learn and accurately explain complex scientific service offerings.
  • Ability to work full-time during US Central Time business hours (40 hours/week).
  • Resilience, coachability, and a process-oriented mindset.

Nice to Haves

  • Direct experience prospecting within Life Sciences, Pharmaceuticals, Cosmetics, or Laboratory Services.
  • Familiarity with sales tools such as Apollo, Outreach, Salesloft, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Previous experience engaging personas in Manufacturing, Product Development, or Procurement.
  • A background in technical B2B services rather than generic SaaS.

What You'll Get

  • The opportunity to work with a growing team in a stable, essential industry.
  • Exposure to sophisticated, technical sales cycles and high-level decision-makers.
  • A structured environment with dedicated leadership from a Sales Manager and Marketing Director.
  • Competitive KPIs and a clear pathway for professional development and potential direct-hire conversion.
