Test Automation Engineer

Minimum profile

Mandatory education: Bachelor's EQF 6 in Computer Science, Sciences, Engineering or equivalent

Minimum IT experience: Master's: 10 years | Bachelor's: 12 years | Secondary education: Not eligible years

Mandatory language(s): English B2

Mandatory technical experience

·       3 years each: creating automation solutions; developing/maintaining automated scripts and test-data management; designing/maintaining automation frameworks; executing automated suites; monitoring/analysing execution results; automation technologies such as Selenium/Cypress/RestAssured; programming such as Java/Python/JavaScript. 5 years in test-management/defect-tracking tools such as Jira.

Mandatory skills and delivery experience

·       3 years producing structured technical documentation, reports, specifications and presentations.

Mandatory certifications: ISTQB Foundation Level Test Automation Engineer OR ISTQB Advanced Level Test Automation Engineer, or equivalent. Titles retained as written in tender.

Additional / advantageous criteria

Optional education: Master's EQF 7 in Computer Science, Sciences, Engineering or equivalent

Relevant sector experience: 3 years each: international/intergovernmental organisations or central national administrations; pharma, health or agrifood.

Additional technical experience: 3 years each: version control/CI; automated regression/smoke/functional suites in CI/CD pipelines; EU data-protection rules; containers/orchestration such as Docker/Kubernetes. 1 year in generative-AI test generation.

Additional languages: Another official EU language B1+
