About the Role
As an In-House Counsel, you’ll apply your legal expertise in technology transactions, contract drafting, negotiation, review, and redlining to projects focused on training and evaluating next-generation AI systems.
You’ll work with realistic legal scenarios and use your professional judgment to assess contract language, identify risks, and provide high-quality feedback that helps improve the accuracy and reliability of AI-generated legal work. Prior AI experience is not required.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform simulated contract negotiations, reviews, and redlining exercises involving technology transactions.
- Review and assess AI-generated responses to contract scenarios for legal accuracy, risk identification, and quality.
- Provide clear, precise feedback to improve the quality and reliability of AI-generated legal outputs.
- Develop objective evaluation frameworks and grading criteria for assessing AI performance on contract-related tasks.
- Analyze contract language and identify key commercial, legal, and risk considerations.
- Apply practical experience with technology agreements to realistic contract scenarios.
- Collaborate with product and research teams to refine legal guidelines, evaluation criteria, and best practices.
- Maintain a high standard of accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail across assigned work.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of in-house legal experience focused on technology transactions.
- Strong experience negotiating and reviewing agreements such as MSAs, NDAs, and DPAs.
- Demonstrated expertise in contract drafting, contract negotiation, contract review, and redlining.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical judgment.
- Ability to translate complex legal reasoning into clear, actionable feedback.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interest in applying legal expertise to emerging technology and AI-related work.
