How the Hybrid template is laid out
The header is marked by a thick accent bar down its left edge. Grouped skills come straight after the summary, and both experience and education use a dated style with the period set clearly against each entry. Projects close the page. It combines the keyword focus of a skills resume with the timeline a recruiter expects.
Who should use Hybrid?
Mid-career candidates moving sideways into a related role, such as support to quality assurance or sales to customer success, who need to show both transferable skills and a steady record.
Is Hybrid ATS-friendly?
This is a combination resume in one column. Dates sit on the same line as each entry, so parsers pair them with the right role.
A writing tip for Hybrid
In the skills block, list the skills the new role asks for first. Then make sure at least one bullet in your recent experience proves each of them.
