Automation Engineer

Job description:

As an Engineer Projects (Industrial Automation), you will be responsible for managing the development, commissioning, and service calls related to PLC, SCADA, HMI, and Drives projects, with a primary focus on Siemens automation solutions. Your tasks will encompass projects involving WINCC, TIA Portal, ladder logic, and various other advanced automation technologies.

Key roles and responsibilities are as below:

• Perform pre-commissioning activities for automation projects.

• Conduct loop checking and troubleshooting of control systems to ensure proper functionality and adherence to project specifications.

• Develop and program automation systems, utilizing ladder logic programming and other relevant programming languages as required.

• Lead and participate in the commissioning process, ensuring successful implementation and integration of automation systems into the client's operations.

• Drawing review and approval.

• Conduct Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) to verify system performance and compliance with project requirements.

• Provide technical support and expertise to clients, resolving issues and addressing service calls in a timely and efficient manner.

Desired Candidate Profile:

·         B.E. Electrical/Electronics/ IC

·         Proven experience in industrial automation, with a strong focus on PLC, SCADA, HMI, and Drives projects, particularly Siemens solutions.

·         Proficiency in WINCC, TIA Portal, and ladder logic programming.

·         Excellent project management skills, including planning, execution, and documentation.
