About the Opportunity

We’re looking for U.S.-based participants to record everyday household activities using a smartphone.

You’ll capture normal household tasks from a first-person perspective using a wearable phone mount. The recorded footage will be used for an AI-related data project.

This is a straightforward opportunity for people who are comfortable recording routine activities at home and following detailed recording instructions.

What You’ll Do

  • Record specified household tasks using your smartphone.
  • Capture first-person video while completing everyday physical activities.
  • Wear the provided or approved phone-mount equipment while recording.
  • Ensure footage is properly recorded and meets project requirements.
  • Follow task-specific recording and quality guidelines.
  • Complete a device compatibility check during onboarding.
  • Complete an AI-enabled onboarding interview.

Requirements

  • Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
  • Must own a compatible smartphone: iPhone 12 or newer
  • Google Pixel 6–9
  • Samsung Galaxy S21 or newer
  • Comfortable wearing a head strap or similar wearable phone mount.
  • Physically able to safely perform repetitive household tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Able to follow instructions accurately.
  • Comfortable recording video from a first-person perspective.

How Payment Works

You are paid based on the amount of qualifying recorded video you submit that meets the project's requirements.

Rate: $10–$15/hour.

Equipment

You will need:

  • A compatible smartphone.
  • A suitable head strap or wearable phone mount for first-person recording.

A $20 signing bonus and reimbursement for the required head strap purchase are available after completing 20 hours of work, subject to the project requirements.

Getting Started

  • Your actual start date will depend on completing onboarding and receiving the required equipment.
  • A device compatibility check and AI-enabled interview are part of the onboarding process.
