About the Opportunity

We are seeking experienced Funds Attorneys to contribute their legal expertise to the development and evaluation of advanced AI systems.

This opportunity is ideal for attorneys with strong experience in fund formation, fund management, contract drafting, negotiation, review, and redlining who are interested in applying their legal judgment to the evolving field of legal AI.

You will evaluate contract-related AI workflows, assess model responses to fund-related legal scenarios, and provide expert feedback to improve how AI systems interpret legal language, identify risk, and apply practical legal judgment.

What You'll Do

  • Perform simulated fund-related contract negotiations and redlining exercises.
  • Review and evaluate AI-generated responses to legal and transactional scenarios.
  • Assess contract language for legal, commercial, and drafting issues.
  • Provide detailed, actionable feedback to improve AI model performance and output quality.
  • Develop objective evaluation frameworks and grading criteria for fund-related legal tasks.
  • Help refine legal data, guidelines, and best practices for AI-driven contract review.
  • Collaborate with product and research teams to improve AI evaluation methodologies and legal workflows.

Required Qualifications

  • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
  • 2+ years of experience in the funds practice of a corporate law firm.
  • Strong familiarity with standard fund documentation, including Limited Partnership Agreements (LPAs), subscription agreements, and side letters.
  • Strong contract drafting, negotiation, review, and redlining skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong analytical judgment.
  • Ability to translate complex legal expertise into clear, structured, and actionable feedback.
  • Demonstrated interest in the intersection of law, technology, and AI.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
