We are seeking experienced M&A attorneys to contribute their legal expertise to the development and evaluation of advanced AI systems.

In this role, you will evaluate contract-related AI workflows, assess model responses to M&A scenarios, and provide expert feedback to help improve how AI systems interpret legal language, identify risk, and apply sound legal reasoning.

What You'll Do

  • Perform simulated M&A contract negotiations and redlining exercises.
  • Review and evaluate AI-generated responses to transactional and M&A scenarios.
  • Provide detailed, actionable feedback to improve AI accuracy, reasoning, and output quality.
  • Develop objective evaluation frameworks and grading criteria for M&A-related legal tasks.
  • Help refine legal data, guidelines, and best practices for AI-driven contract review.
  • Collaborate with product and research teams in a cross-functional environment.

Required Qualifications

  • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
  • 2+ years of M&A experience within the corporate department of a law firm.
  • Familiarity with standard M&A agreements, including Asset Purchase Agreements (APAs) and Stock Purchase Agreements (SPAs).
  • Strong experience with contract drafting, negotiation, review, and redlining.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Ability to translate legal expertise and judgment into clear, actionable feedback.
  • Interest in the intersection of law, technology, and AI.
